GMAT Test Fee Waiver Request Form

The GMAT Test Fee Waiver Program is intended to help economically disadvantaged students access graduate business education. If approved, the student will receive a fee waiver code that can be used for one test administration (valued at $250). The number of waivers available is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are not eligible for multiple fee waiver awards.

Consideration will be given to, but is not limited to, students from the following groups:

    • displaced workers
    • under-employed college graduates
    • active military personnel, their spouses and/or dependents
    • recently inactive military personnel, their spouses and/or dependents
    • military veterans
    • historically under-represented populations

Students must have applied for admission to a Bryan School graduate program and have official transcripts on file with the Bryan School Office of Graduate Admissions to be considered for a GMAT fee waiver award.

Completed petitions for GMAT test fee waivers will be reviewed by Bryan School staff whose decisions will be binding. Those students selected will be notified with instructions on how to register for the GMAT using their test fee waiver. The student must have their test fee waiver information at the time their exam appointment is scheduled. Test fee waivers must be used by the date noted in the award notice.

Receipt of a GMAT fee waiver does not guarantee an offer of admission to a Bryan School degree program. Applicants must meet the admission requirements noted on the Bryan School website for their respective degree program. Additionally, applicants are not guaranteed additional scholarship or financial assistance through the Bryan School or UNCG. Applicants are welcome to apply for Bryan School scholarships and/or Federal Financial Aid separate from the GMAT test fee waiver process.

The Bryan School is required to notify the Graduate Management Admission Council with the name and method of determining eligibility for all students selected for GMAT fee waivers. By submitting this request, you are granting approval to the Bryan School to release this information to GMAC.
