YOUR TIME LIMIT.... 3 MINUTES. 2026 Graduate School 3MT Competition for Master's and Doctoral Students This competition challenges master's and doctoral students to explain their thesis or dissertation research to non-specialist audiences in the space of just 3 minutes with one PowerPoint slide. This is a great opportunity to hone your communication skills, get feedback on your presentation style, and win cash prizes! First place ($1,000), second place ($500), and People’s Choice ($250) winners will be selected and announced at the end of the final competition on Thursday, October 29, 2026 in the Alumni House. Participation will be limited to students pursuing a master's thesis or doctoral dissertation at UNCG.
