This degree is designed to be completed in 6 years, including a required pre-doctoral internship year (MA to PhD), or 4-5 years, including the pre-doctoral internship year (PhD Only).

Do you want a terminal MA in Psychology, not a PhD?
Please apply to "Psychology (MA Only) (General Experimental Psychology concentration)"
The Master's degree with a concentration of General Experimental is a terminal degree and does not lead into the doctoral program whereas the Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, and Social tracks are designed for students who intend to continue toward a doctoral degree in Psychology at UNCG. There is not an option to pursue a terminal MA degree in Clinical Psychology.
Do you want a PhD with a concentration in Clinical Psychology?

Applicants who have or will have completed a related Master's degree may be able to skip the MA phase of the program and directly enter the PhD program; all Master's degrees will be evaluated by the program faculty when admission decisions are made.
Do you want a PhD with a concentration in Cognitive, Developmental, Social, or General Experimental Psychology?
